Critical Windows Update
Posted on October 28th, 2008 by Heather BraumThe following was sent out to the NEKLS Public Libraries list this morning:
An extremely critical Microsoft Windows Update patch has been released. All of your computers need to have this patch applied as soon as possible. Do you remember the Blaster virus/worm from several years ago? If this patch is not applied, a very similar situation might occur!
The following links are direct download links to the update, according to the effected operating systems. Please download and install the applicable update to each of your library’s computers, including your server if it is running Windows Server 2003; if you have a flash drive, you can download the patch once and then install it on all of your computers.
